Now 68, Dennis is the famous snooker player with the upside down glasses who beat Steve Davis to become World Snooker Champion in 1985.

Dennis has been a regular on the nations TV’s over the last 30 years appearing on shows such as big break, they think it’s all over, Russian Roulette, A Question of Sport, The Weakest link and Pointless and the third series of Strictly Come Dancing. 

Voted the most popular event in BBC 2’s 50 years of broadcasting the famous 85 black ball final kept over 18.5 million viewers glued to their TV screens till well after midnight to witness Dennis become World Snooker Champion by potting the final black ball to leave Steve Davis shell shocked live on National Television.
